ING Educator and Parent Webinar Recordings Now Available

In response to repeated requests by teaching professionals for reputable resources and engaging tools to more effectively engage with the diversity in your classrooms, on Wednesday, January 27th, ING convened a webinar specifically for educators. The webinar was cosponsored by the Religious Freedom Center at the Newseum Institute, the Sikh Coalition, Thirteen WNET New York, Unity Productions Foundation, the Tanenbaum Center for Interreligious Understanding, Teaching Tolerance, the Muslim Public Affairs Council, the Islamic Society of North America, and the Council on American-Islamic Relations.

Many of you were able to join the webinar live, and we’re so pleased with your positive feedback. If you missed the webinar or if you want to re-watch it with colleagues, we are delighted to announce that the recording of this educator webinar is now available on our website and YouTube channel. Expert guests joined ING staff to explore what the First Amendment says about teaching World Religions in public schools, reputable resources for teachers and educators to use in educating about Islam and World Religions, and best practices for upholding a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students. Please share this valuable resource with others in your networks and community.

A comprehensive list of all of the resources mentioned in the webinar is forthcoming. Check back on our site next week once it is posted!
