OUTREACH TO SCHOOLS: MAILING ADDRESSED TO TEACHERS & SCHOOL ADMINISTRATORS

War in Iraq | Outreach to Schools

Our school mailing was addressed to nearly 5,000 Bay Area teachers and school administrators providing them with useful tips and facts to help them prevent potential problems from occurring in their schools (for more information about our mailings, please visit: http://www.ing.org/prevent_hate/default.asp) in the event of war.

As soon as the mailings were sent, we began receiving phone calls, emails and on-line requests from teachers and other school officials requesting our services. The response has truly been remarkable and we continue to receive requests. One District Supervisor, in particular, from the South San Francisco School District was so enthused by the mailing that she called in just to thank us and tell us that the material provided helped her create the basis for a very important meeting she was having the following day with district officials.
