Maha ElGenaidi, President and CEO
Maha is the founder of the ING organization.

Maha has spoken to hundreds of schools, churches, synagogues, police departments, corporations and other public agencies. She has appeared on numerous television and radio programs and is the author of seven training handbooks on outreach for American Muslims as well as eight training modules for public institutions on "developing cultural competency with the American Muslim community". Maha is active with many state and federal government agencies and was a former commissioner on Lt. Governor Cruz Bustamante's Commission for One California. She currently serves on the California Three Rs Advisory Committee, Santa Clara County Human Relations Commission and is an Advisor to California's Commission on Police Officers Standards and Training (POST) for cultural diversity and hate crime prevention. Maha has been recognized with numerous civil rights awards, including the "Civil Rights Leadership Award" from the California Association of Human Relations Organizations, and the "Citizen of the Year Award" from the Santa Clara County Board of Supervisors. She received her B.A. in Political Science and Economics from the American University in Cairo. Maha is married and lives in Santa Clara, California.

Ali Asghar Rangwala, Chief Operating Officer
Ali Asghar directs operations, accounting and administration.

Ali Asghar has over 25 years of experience in the areas of accounting, operations and engineering, working in the U.S. and abroad. Previously employed in the construction, semi-conductor and IT services industries, his experience spans business management, accounting, civil engineering design and DoD project management. Ali Asghar received his M.B.A. and M.S. in Civil Engineering from San Jose State University. He is passionate about volunteering, reading, camping, hiking and travel. Ali Asghar lives in Santa Clara with his wife and two children.

Grace Fong, Marketing Director
Grace heads up marketing and special initiatives for the speakers bureau programs.

Grace is responsible for managing and marketing the Islamic and Interfaith Speakers Bureau programs. She has 20+ years experience in marketing management in the hi-tech industry, working most recently at Apple as a Senior Education Marketing Manager. Grace received her M.B.A in International Business Administration from the Monterey Institute of International Studies, and a B.A. from the University of California, Davis. Her passions include animals, language studies, and international travel, which have included trips to Europe, Asia, South America, Africa and the Middle East. Grace lives in San Jose with her husband and two dogs rescued from shelters.

Ameena Jandali, Content Director
Ameena is a speaker, trainer, writer and editor.

Ameena is a founding member of ING. She has delivered hundreds of presentations in schools, colleges, universities, churches, and other venues on Islam and related subjects, and has appeared on numerous television and radio programs. She has also been a frequent guest at conventions, seminars, and other forums, speaking on a variety of topics relating to outreach, family, and Islamic behavior. Ameena is an editor of ING training handbooks on outreach for American Muslims, as well as author and editor of training modules for public institutions on developing cultural competency with the American Muslim community. She currently team teaches a class on Islam at San Francisco City College. She received her M.A. in Near Eastern Studies from the University of California, Berkeley, and B.A. in History from the University of Illinois. Ameena lives with her husband and four children in Berkeley.

Deana Rabiah, Development Manager
Deana works on researching and writing grants.

Deana has eight years experience in resource development. She received her M.P.H from the School of Public Health at the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor, where her focus was on community health and non-profit management. She previously worked at ACCESS (the Arab Community Center for Economic and Social Services) in Dearborn, MI, where she headed the post-9/11 Education Outreach program, with a total budget of over $1 million. While at ACCESS she was part of the team that fund-raised, researched and developed the first-ever Arab American National Museum, which opened in 2005. Deana resides with her husband, daughter and son in Santa Cruz.

Noha Ragab, Development Associate
Noha supports fund development projects.

Noha started her career as a reporter for the newspaper Al-Ahram Weekly in Cairo, Egypt and continued in journalism, writing for several other publications in the U.S. such as Southern Exposure and the Duke Chronicle. Upon moving to the Bay Area, she hosted a talk show on San Jose Cable TV and interned at the World Affairs Council in San Francisco. Noha earned her B.A. in Political Science from Cairo University in Egypt and her M.P.A. from San Jose State University where her thesis was on the media’s coverage of the Iraqi war and the stereotyped images of Arabs and Muslims resulting from that coverage. She also taught both German and Arabic at Berlitz, the worldwide language institute for several years. Noha practices Japanese martial arts and enjoys diving and travelling. She lives with her husband and her two children in San Jose.

Everett DePangher, Programs Assistant
Everett schedules presentations and panels for the speaker bureau programs.

Everett is a graduate of Santa Clara University where he earned his B.S. degree in Political Science and Religious Studies. Prior to working at ING, Everett was employed at the San Jose Silicon Valley Chamber of Commerce and City Year.

Saba Siddiqi, Human Resources Manager
Saba oversees development of employees and volunteers.

Saba is also a Mediator for the Santa Clara County Dispute Resolution Program Service since 2003 and has co-mediated many successful mediations between neighbors, parent-youth, tenant-landlord, etc. She received her M.S. in Mass Communications from San Jose State University, and B.S. in English literature and Psychology from the University of Toronto, Canada. Saba lives with her husband and three children in Sunnyvale.
